Pastor Juanita Ricks

Founder of In God's Hands House of Prayer

In July 1998, Juanita graduated from Tidewater Tech as a Computer Specialist and gained over 23 years of property management experience. Today, she is not only a Licensed Real Estate Agent but also a Notary Public, Licensed Insurance Agent, and Financial Advisor who dedicates her life to serving underprivileged children of Christ.

In 2011, Juanita accepted her calling as an Evangelist and continued as a faithful Teacher before becoming an Elder in 2014, driven by her passion for helping people succeed and receive all that God has in store for them.

Born on May 15, 1968, in Norfolk, Virginia, Pastor Juanita Ricks was fortunate to cross paths with Dr. Hazel Andrews of Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church, who imparted the word of God into her at a young age. Juanita remained a devoted disciple of Christ from the age of five until her graduation from Norview High School in 1986. However, she strayed from her faith and only rededicated her life to Christ in 1996. She returned to the very foundation of her faith at Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as a bookkeeper and plowed in the ministry wherever she was needed.

On September 26, 2020, Pastor Juanita Ricks was commissioned as Prophetess under the authority of our overseer, Apostle Patricia L. Harris.

With her unwavering faith and steadfast commitment to serving God's people, Pastor Juanita has been a visionary and prayer warrior, guiding countless individuals toward spiritual wellness and personal growth. Her compassionate spirit and dedication to serving others have made a profound impact on the lives of those around her.

On December 11, 2022, Pastor Juanita opened her heart and doors to faithfully serve at In God's Hands House of Prayer, where she continues to labor for the Lord. In her unwavering dedication, Pastor Juanita not only assumes a leadership role but also wholeheartedly nurtures the spiritual growth of others. She assists them in birthing their ministries and is pivotal in fostering a vibrant and thriving faith community.

On November 11, 2023, a momentous event occurred as God elevated Pastor Juanita Ricks alongside Pastor Samuel Blair, and Prophetess Anna Blair, all under the divine authority of the overseer, Apostle Patricia L. Harris. This significant installation marked the beginning of a new chapter in Pastor Juanita's journey.

Pastor Juanita Ricks is the mother of 3 children and has 3 grandchildren. She continues to live her life in accordance with God's vision and purpose. As the founder of In God's Hands House of Prayer, she has played a pivotal role in creating a safe space where individuals can find healing and deliverance through prayer.

Through her leadership, In God's Hands House of Prayer has become a beacon of hope and a place of refuge for those in need. Pastor Juanita's commitment to this mission has inspired others to join her in this noble cause, creating a community of prayer warriors and supporters who share her passion for serving others.

She is committed to living by her life's motto, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven" (Matthew 5:16), and she remains dedicated to living a life that glorifies God in everything she does.
